Ahead of the 2020 Presidential elections in the United States of America, famous American rapper, Kanye West has declared his intention to partake in the election.
The rapper, who made this known in a tweet in the early hours of Sunday, June 5 noted that there is the need to realize the promise of America by trusting God.
He also reiterated the importance of unifying the vision and building the future of the U.S adding that he would be running for president of the United States.
Kanye’s declaration came a few hours after the celebration of the 2020 Independence Day also known as the Fourth of July or July 4th.
While reacting to Kanye West’s declaration on Twitter, some of his followers commended him while others believed that it was late before he made his intention known.
Also, a Twitter user opined that Taylor swift has three times as many followers as Kanye and more than Trump adding that Taylor is also 1,000% more rational than both of them combined.
Another Twitter user stated that the singer is deliberately helping Trump by becoming a third party candidate adding that he will take Black votes that would have gone for Biden.
However, the US Presidential elections are slated for November 3, 2020, whereby all seats in the United States House of Representatives, 35 of the hundred seats in the United States Senate, and the office of President of the United States will be contested.
Furthermore, thirteen state and territorial governorships and numerous other state and local elections would be contested.
Meanwhile, the Incumbent Republican President Donald Trump is seeking re-nomination in the 2020 Republican Party presidential primaries.
Also, Joe Biden is the Democratic Party’s presumptive nominee after securing a majority of delegates in the 2020 Democratic Party presidential primaries.
