John Boyega Tells Experiences With Dad in Father’s Day Message

British actor, John Boyega with the full name John Adedayo Bamidele Adegboyega penned down a beautiful piece to celebrate his dad on father’s day.

The ‘Star Wars’ actor was born to Nigerian parents; Abigail (nee Aboderin) and Samson Adegboyega, a Pentecostal minister in Peckham, London, United Kingdom.

The actor who is the last of his parents’ children (has two older sisters) has been one of the best actors from the United Kingdom.

In the 2020 Powerlist, Boyega was listed in the Top 100 of the most influential people in the UK of African/African-Caribbean descent. He also featured in a powerful protest on black lives matter in the United Kingdom few weeks ago.

John Boyega Message for Dad on Father’s Day

Pacific Rim‘ lead actor, John Boyega took time to appreciate his dad on Father’s day by recounting his childhood memory.

Samson Adegboyega, a Pentecostal minister in the United Kingdom whom son referred to ‘Mufasa’ got a lengthy and lovely piece from his son.

The actor remembered all the lovely memories and put it down in a social media post. He remembered when the dad took him to his first audition and several other pleasant memories.

In his words, ”Today, I remember when you chased after a man (to Mum’s horror lol) because he snatched a woman’s purse in front of you. With that Nigerian sprint, you got the ladies bag back”.

He also added ‘‘I remember all the gems you’ve dropped, about how to maintain a successful and healthy marriage, even after 33 years, with the love of your life, our Mum and Queen.”

The actor then wished everyone a Happy Father’s day.
