Jarrod Bowen’s Injury Update: No Serious Damage

West Ham forward United Jarrod Bowen who was injured in their 1-0 loss to Liverpool has avoided serious injury according to the latest test carried on the player. The player was forced off during Saturday’s defeat at Liverpool with a heel injury. The 25-year-old had a scan on Sunday which revealed no significant damage was done on him.

Update on Jarrod Bowen’s Injury: West Ham Receives Good News

The former Hereford and Hull City player sustained the injury in a collision with former Tigers team-mate Andy Robertson early in the second half and he was substituted after he tried to carry on but could not continue.

West Ham United head of medical Richard Colling said: “Jarrod underwent an MRI scan in London on Sunday morning and, thankfully, no significant injury has occurred.” He also said: “He will continue to be monitored by the medical team and will undergo further examination in the coming days.”

David Moyes’ side will travel to Spain to face Sevilla in the Europa League last-16 first leg on Thursday, before hosting Aston Villa in the English Premier League next weekend. There is no report if Jarrod Bowen will be in action for the Hammers but the Tue player is currently not in a bad condition.

West Ham United did well to finish top of their group in the first round of the Europa League allowing them to rest longer than those that finished second and third. So far, the English Premier League side has been impressive in the competition and Jerrod Bowen had been very instrumental to their success. The striker is currently among the club’s top goal scorers this season.
