Veteran Nigerian comedian and actor, Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome, widely known as Alibaba, has opened up about his stance on polygamy, explaining that he sees the practice as both practical and culturally relevant in certain contexts.

“Some people believe that when you have only one wife, you may not be able to control the wife,” Alibaba said. “But when she knows there’s another woman in the picture, she will calm down because she knows that once she misbehaves, another one is available.”
