Some Imo traders have levelled serious allegations against officers of the Nigerian Army and some police officers.
The traders accused the security personnel of joining hands with hoodlums to loot their shops while searching for the killers of Ahmed Gulak.
According to the traders in the Market Square in Owerri, the military personnel ravaged their means of livelihood under the guise of searching for the killers of Gulak, the former adviser to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.
The traders added that some Northerners living around Enyiogugu backed by military men went from one shop to the other and looted the goods in the shops in the name of serving as informants to aid the arrest of the killers.
One of the traders said the military officers prevented people from taking videos and photos during the raid.
Sahara Reporters reported that the affected traders include Crescentia Nwahuckwu, John Akushie, Chukwudi Nwagwu, John Opara, Onyinyechi Opara and Livinus Anufuro.
You will recall that some aggrieved citizens had earlier waylaid a lorry loaded with onions at Enyiogugu Market Square in Aboh-Mbaise, Imo state.
