Manchester United’s coaching staff attempt to extend Odion Ighalo’s loan deal has hit a snag/ brick wall, according to SportsMail.The six-month agreement will expire in a weeks time.
Shanghai Shenhua the Chinese club have rejected the red devils’s requests to keep Ighalo at theater of dreams for another three months. The Chinese Super League have ordered Ighalo, to rejoin the club to prepare for the start of the delayed season.
Unless United can pull of a late miracle populary known as Fergie time in negotiations, Ighalo will return to Shanghai when his loan ends in a weeks time. The 30-year-old scored four goals in eight matches before the COVID-19 shutdown and resumed training with the United squad at Carrington last week.
Although he would prefer to finish the season in England, Shanghai have the final say and are determined to get Ighalo back.
In other news, a social media user identified as Godswill Uche who appears to have been Nigerian football star’s childhood friend, Kelechi Iheanacho lamented how the football star forgot about him. Uche revealed how they grew up together.
Uche revealed how they grew up together in the same neighborhood in Owerri, Imo state.
