Cross River Police Commissioner Dies

Cross River police commissioner, Jimoh Ibrahim, has died few hours to the ceremony where he was to receive an award.

Accoring to report, he was meant to be given an award for excellent service by 3:00pm today, only to hear of his death.

A close source said Ibrahim was rushed to the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, UCTH, where he died in the early hours of today.

Against the rumour that he died of COVID-19 complications, the source said he died on pneumonia complications.

There were also information that he also had diabetics and had also complained of ill health for a while.

His death has come as a shock to the state police officers who were earlier instructed to gather at the state police headquarters for his award ceremony.
