Haaland Gets New Free Motivator

Following Kylian Mbappe’s hat-trick against Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund goal machine Erling Braut Haaland has tapped from the French player as he banged brace against Sevilla in the Uefa Champions League last-16 round.

Haaland scored two and provided an assist to help his side come from behind to beat the Spanish side. Sevilla opened the scoring the opening seven minutes of the game by Fernández Saez.

Borussia Dortmund came back into the game and levelled the scores in the 19 minutes of the game. Mahmoud Dahoud levelled the scores before Haaland netted his 17th goal in the competition to put them ahead.

He doubled his goal in the 29th minute of the game to make his goals 18 goals in 13 games in the competition. Luuk de Jong scored an 84th-minute goal to bring the Spaniards back it never did as the game ended 3-2 in favour of the Germans.

It was just twenty-four hours after Paris St-Germain star Kylian Mbappe announced himself as Europe’s goal machine by scoring a hat-trick at Nou Camp before Haaland dropped his banger.

Mbappe Gave me Free Motivation, Haaland

He was given the Man of the Match award just Mbappe won the Man of the Match in their own game against Barcelona. Haaland said he was motivated by Mbappe’s hat-trick according to him, and he said: “When I saw Mbappe scored hat-trick yesterday, I got a free motivation.”

The two players are responsible for 28 Champions League goals in the 2020/21 Uefa Champions League. on the other hand, Ronaldo and Messi are responsible for 15 Champions League goals.
