Following United’s superb performance in their 2-2 draw against Atalanta, Atalanta head coach Gian Piero Gasperini spoke to Ronaldo. The manager has finally revealed what he was telling the Portuguese forward after the final whistle.

He said: “He’s an incredible player; some even call him a problem.” The Italian also said: “That’s a nice problem to have. He rarely gets it off-target; half the time he scores, half the time it is saved.” “I told him, ‘You know what we say in Italy? Go to hell’.”
Ronaldo has scored five goals in four Champions League appearances since his return to United from Juventus in the summer. The striker has almost single-handedly fired Manchester United to the top of Group F, with Villarreal sitting in second on goal difference following their 2-0 win against Young Boys. Ronaldo admitted that the United were slightly fortunate to avoid defeat in their latest outing and has called for patience as they continue to try and rediscover a consistent streak.
Unlike Gian Piero Gasperini, Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer said: “We never give up. We believe it is a good result for us until the end.” Ronaldo speaking on the game, said the beginning was tough, and the whole team was aware that Atalanta would do a lot of pressure. He also commended the coach, saying he is a fantastic coach, and when he was at Juventus, they were always challenging to play against.
