Fuel scarcity persists despite national distributions as promised by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.

Meanwhile, the microblogging media platform, Twitter, is flooded with pictures of residents of Lagos and Abuja, respectively, all moving around with empty jerrycans with the hope of buying Premium Motor Spirit from the filling stations,

A quick browse through the social media platform reveals that there are still queues, although, not as long as the initial phase of the scarcity.

Also, everyevery.ng correspondent observed some of the NNPC filling stations from areas like Kubwa up untill those situated along the Gwarimpa Expressway and up to the station cited opposite the NNPC Towers in Central Business District, CBD and environs.

Our findings show that the queues, however, have stated moving faster than usual and those in the black market business are merely getting patronage from car owners.

Meanwhile, transportation is yet to fully return to its old price as some motorists still feel the need to extort money from unsuspecting passengers that are in haste to get to their places of work because of the ongoing fuelscarcity.
