Former Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose’s N10,000 gift was reported to have recently caused trouble among some residents of the state.
According to a trending video, Fayose who was said to have attended the campaign of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s flag bearer in the June 18 Ekiti State governorship election, Bisi Kolawole gave the sum of N10,000 to a group of youth only to cause trouble.
According to an eyewitness, the recipients of the gift were unaware of the amount given to them, but were more determined to have a bite of the free bee.
Trouble started as they we seen in the video exchanging punches and only to discover that the gift was merely N10,000, but looked like a huge amount because it was in N200 denomination.
