A former Minister of Aviation, Fani Kayode, has found himself in a fresh scandal as his ex-wife, Precious Chikwendu, accused him of beating her up while pregnant.
In an affidavit submitted before the FCT High Court, Abuja, the former beauty queen, accused Fani Kayode of maintaining a lifestyle of utter disregard to her feelings from the early days of their relationship.
She accused the former Minister of kicking her several times on her stomach over a petty argument.
Chikwendu told the court that Fani Kayode repeated the same act when she was pregnant with triplets, adding that the former Minister conspired with a former Divisional Police Officer of the Asokoro Police Station to drug her.
Chikwendu added that she was abducted and incarcerated at a hospital for two weeks and denied her children’s access for several months.
However, she seeks the court’s order granting her custody of the four children to the applicant.
Meanwhile, the Ex-Minister, in a response filed by his counsel, Oluwafemi Popoola, said he had not been adequately served with the court processes.
