The former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has on Monday announced the passing away of her elder sister, Mrs Moji Ladeji.
In a tweet, the former governor said that Mrs Ladeji died after a brief illness.
The tweet reads “On behalf of my family, I announce the death of my immediate elder sister, Mrs Moji Ladeji. She died today, after a brief illness. We are pained by your departure but consoled by the God-fearing and exemplary life that you lived. May the soul of Sister Moji rest in peace.”
Earlier, Fayose has opined that the outcome of Edo State election has shown once again that Nigeria can have free, fair and credible elections if those in control of the Federal government would allow the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC and security agencies to do their jobs without interference.
He, however, advised Governor Godwin Obaseki to remain in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP not minding the pressure that will be mounted on him.
