Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has completed his loan move to English Premeir League top side Watford. The player had a successful medical recently and signed afterwards. Watford started enquiring about the player sometime back but was made public only yesterday.
Etebo has joined his fellow countrymen Willam Troost Ekong, Emmanuel Dennis, Isaac Success and Tom Dele-Bashiru in the English Premier League. He joined the Sky Bet Championship club Stoke City club on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
The former Warri Wolves player spent last season on loan at Turkish Super Lig club Galatasaray and has no future at Stoke City. The combative midfielder made 24 league appearances for Galatasaray last season. The 25-year-old joined Stoke City from Portuguese outfit CD Feirense in 2018.
He scored two goals in 45 appearances for the Potters. The London club is also in talks with another Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu who could join them before the league starts in August.
