Erica has again picked Kiddwaya over Laycon who she describes often as her friend and who she is mentally attracted to. She was made to pick between Kiddwaya and Laycon after she won the seat of the Head of House, HOH.
Her case is identical to that of Ozo, Dorathy, and Nengi, but she did not pick Laycon her friend the way Ozo picked Dorathy his best friend as his deputy Head of House.
After she was declared the winner of the Head of House challenge, Biggie gave her 20 minutes to think about her choice of a deputy, just as he always does. When the thinking time has lapsed, she was summoned to the diary room to make her choice known.
She told Biggie that Kiddwaya was her choice and when she was asked of her second and third choice, in case Kiddwaya does not accept the nomination, she picked Laycon and Praise as her second and third options respectively.
After she was done picking, she ensured she sat close to Laycon when it was time for her to reveal her nominated Deputy Head of House, but that sitting arrangement could not have healed the wound Laycon is presently nurturing.
Laycon is again bitter about what Erica did to him this evening after she won the post of the HOH. According to him, Erica came to meet him, saying it was going to be awkward for the two of them to sleep in the same room.
She went to him about making her mind known because she claimed Laycon was who she wanted to pick as the Deputy Head of House. But because Laycon was bitter, he told her to postpone the topic till after she was done announcing her deputy.
He sees this as a way to play on his emotions believing that she had already picked her deputy in her mind before coming to him.
Bitter Laycon went into his room with the mind of being alone, but Neo joined him and started advising him on what to do. While he was there, Vee joined them and told Laycon to get over Erica.
She stressed that Erica has made her choice and the best way for him to also decide to be happy. Neo and Vee told him to avoid her so that enjoying the house would be easier for him.
