A former Lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye, has levelled serious allegations against Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello.
Dino disclosed that the anti-corruption Network discovered that one Abdusalami Hudu received check payment of three billion, seven hundred and ninety million naira, following Governor Bello’s orders.
The former lawmaker added that Hudu cashed cheques in 10 million naira tranches 15 times totalling 400million naira in one day on October 24, 2016.
He said the Anti-Corruption Network also discovered that Hudu cashed a check of Ten Million Naira 15 times.
Also, On November 30, 2016, Hudu allegedly cashed a cheque of Ten Million Naira 26 times, while he cashed Ten Million Naira, 33 times on On December 21, 2016.
Melaye, who alleged that Hudu is a money launderer to Governor Bello, added that Hudu helped the governor withdraw money from the Kogi State Government House Administration and Kogi State Government House Admin.
According to Melaye, the anti-Corruption Network discovered that Hudu also runs a company Messer Ojubape Limited, a private company limited by shares which majors in Petroleum products sales and distribution.
