Famous singer Davido in a recent interview, disclosed the kind of man his father was while he was growing up.
The singer who recently donated the sum of two hundred and fifty million to orphanages in Nigeria to celebrate his birthday noted that he had no clue his family was wealthy until he got to the age of 13.
Davido said from the time he was a kid till now; his father is a humble man and modest in the way he spends or handles his business, which amazes him.
“I remember growing up from my younger days till I was like 11, I wasn’t really close to my dad because he was all about work, work, work. I would remember him coming home late every day, building something. I didn’t know what he was doing, I didn’t even know we were rich till probably I was like 13.” Davido said.
He also added that as a kid, his father was a billionaire that drove a Honda accord and his mum had a Toyota, which didn’t give him a clue they were rich because of their modesty until they moved to a new house.
