An aggrieved crowd has brutally attacked an Okada Rider for committing the hit and run crime on a woman who reportedly died on the accident scene.
However, the crowd did not stop at just beating the motorcyclist up but went further to lynch him after the multiple battering.
Sadly, the incident, which happened Thursday 9, 2022, escalated beyond ones imagination, as the AngryMob went extreme to start setting other motorcyles ablaze.
It happened at Jakande Estate/Isheri area of Lagos State as reports revealed that the situation was finally brought under control by the efforts of security operatives, doing everything in their might to restore normalcy in the area.
Reacting to the incident, Lagos Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin in a series of tweets said: “It is important to clear the air on what’s going on at Jakande Estate/Isheri Road. This morning, a motorcycle rider veered off the road and hit a pedestrian.
“Unfortunately, the pedestrian fell and died on the spot. People around decided to lynch the motorcycle rider. The Police arrived at the scene on time and rescued the motorcycle rider from being killed. He added.
