Following Manchester United 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace, many United fans have been asking the management to fire head coach Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer. As fans were looking for the manager to be sack, underground issues were tackled in the United camp.
According to reports, skipper Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford were involved in words war. During the game, in the 69th minute, precisely, Rashford lost his temper with the skipper Maguire after the skipper criticized his failure to stay onside after he was caught offside.
Maguire told Marcus Rashford to ‘f***ing stay onside’. But after being penalized for being offside, Rashford decided to reply to Maguire, but this did not go well.
Rashford replying Maguire said:” ‘Shut the f* up, f*ing.” Speaking after United’s draw, the head coach said: ‘It’s disappointing. We were just a little bit off. If you’re not spot on, you won’t win games. Ole also said Palace always make things difficult for him and his team.
The manager said he would not blame players for what has happened. He attributed it to human nature. According to him, he sometimes said you don’t work at your best.
“Today, we didn’t. It’s been a long season. I’m not blaming that because everyone has the same season. You’re playing against a good team who make you play the way they want to.”
To him, they lost the game because the players kept giving the ball away. Manchester United did not create many chances in the game. They are now 14-points behind leaders Manchester City with less than 23 games left to play.
