Following the announcement by the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika that Executive Jet has been suspended indefinitely, the chairman of the airline company, Sam Iwuajoku, has tendered a letter of apology.
In the letter, he apologized for flying Controversial singer, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley and ex-BBNaija housemate, Kim Oprah to Abuja.
Iwuajoku noted that he thought the aircraft was conveying Babatunde Fashola, the Minister of works who shared a similar surname with the controversial rapper.
In a letter written to the Minister of Aviation, Iwuajoku stated that he had no idea that the aircraft was conveying a bunch of useless people.
He further explained that the flight was originally scheduled to convey a judge to Abuja on Sunday, June 14 only to realise that the judge had arrived in Abuja with another aircraft.
Iwuajoku said he saw the name Babatunde Fashola and assumed that the flight was to convey the Minister of works after going through the flight manifest on Saturday, June 13.
You will recall that Everyevery.ng had earlier reported that the National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Dr Sani Aliyu on Monday revealed that authorities of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA would decide the punishment to be meted out to Naira Marley.
