Manchester United are closing in on the signing of Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro for 60m euros (£50.7m). Acceding to reports Carlo Ancelotti have confirmed the interest of the layer to join the English Premier League side.
It is also said that they will be a plus 10m euros (£8.5m) in add-ons. Talks have progressed quickly and Manchester United is optimistic the deal for the 30-year-old Brazilian international, 30, will be completed in the next few days.
Casemiro has been with Real Madrid since 2013, winning three La Liga titles and five Champions Leagues. United are bottom of the Premier League table after losing two games they will be hosting Liverpool on Monday and they want him to be in the squad.
