Buhari Attends Mosque As Religious Places Reopen

President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari attended Juma’at service at the state house mosque on Friday.


After the further ease of the Federal Government-imposed lockdown by the president on Monday as announce by the chairman of the presidential task force, boss Mustapha, Religious centres were given a leeway into a restricted reopening of their places of worship (mosques and churches).


The mosque at the aso villa reopened and allowed for a controlled juma’at prayer to be carried out.

The participants of the juma’at service at the villa were all properly screened and had to wear a mask and use sanitizers. All social distancing measures against the deadly COVID-19 pandemic were observed in the gathering as well.
