Famous Nigerian Comedian and actor Bovi Ugboma has lambasted a renowned Nollywood movie Producer, Niyi Akinmolayan, over what he described as the Producer’s failure to accept correction while shooting his recent movie.
In a lengthy post on his Instastory, the Comedian described Akinmolayan as a clout chaser for promoting his movie after he deliberately refused to identify with the project since they released it. He noted that the Nollywood Producer is an egoistic and inferiority complex driven director.
Bovi further accused Akinmolayan of attempting to shut down his set during their shoot to make the movie lame and mediocre through his body language and some of the things he said during the shooting of the movie.
According to Bovi, Akinmolayan made the attempt on the third day of a two weeks shoot because he did not want the correction to his approach to the scripting. Meanwhile, the Comedian explained that some of the people on the set of the movie production begged him to ignore Akinmolayan’s alarming Character.
Bovi noted that the Popular movie Producer is only theoretically informed, but practically inept, adding that he came out of his coven to advertise himself after the film has succeeded.
You will recall that the Comedian recently released his comedy movie, My Village People, which Akinmolayan directed.
