Boris Johnson recovers in UK hospital. The UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson who has for some days now been in Intensive care unit is currently able to sit up properly. Although he seems to be recovering speedingly, reports say he might not be able to return to work until 1 month.

“Things are getting better for him,” culture minister Oliver Dowden said. “He’s stable, improving, sat up and engaged with medical staff,” he said.

This is about two weeks since Boris Johnson tested positive to the coronavirus and about his fourth day in ICU. Although he appeared to have the situation under control when he tested positive, he eventually had to be taken in at St Thomas’ Hospital when he needed oxygen.

At the moment, Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab is running the government as Boris undergoes treatment ad subsequent recovery.
