Basketmouth Speaks Hot Over COVID-19 Vaccine in Nigeria

Popular Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha better known as Basketmouth has taken to social media to comment on the issue of covid-19 vaccine in Nigeria.

Basketmouth in a video shared on social media berated the government on the issue of covid-19 vaccination of Nigerians.

According to him, neighboring Ghana had secured about 17.6 million vaccines which will get to them before the end of June, 2021 for their over 30 million population.

In contrast, Nigeria which has over 200 million people is still ‘looking to securing’ 100,000 vaccines.

He said, “...this should cover Lekki Phase 1 and small of Ajah…. and they are still looking into producing vaccines locally

Now you want to produce the vaccines locally, who wan take am now? Wey be say una malaria drug no dey work” he fumed.

In other news, the Nigerian entertainment industry lost one of its finest disc jockey, DJ Babus, over the weekend to coronavirus after a battle with the disease.

The popular disk jockey has been mourned by entertainers which include BBN winner, Laycon.
