Cristiano Ronaldo Offered to Barcelona
According to reports from the latest gist Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo has been reportedly offered to Spanish side Barcelona this summer in what could be the biggest transfer ever in football history. This is according to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague who reported that the former Real Madrid star may be making a return to the Spanish La Liga.
Cristiano Ronaldo has played only two seasons with the Italian giants and he has won the Italian Serie A league back to back. The 35-year-old five-time Ballon d’Or winner has not been able to win the Champions League with the Old Lady which is one of the major reasons they signed him from Real Madrid.
During Cristiano Ronaldo’s first season at Juventus, the forward and his teammates were knocked out of the Champions League by Ajax in the quarterfinal. Turin fans were of the views that their side would do well this term in the Champions League, but they crashed out losing against Lyon in the round of 16 even with Cristiano Ronaldo’s two goals it was not enough to see them to the next stage of the tournament.
Juventus chiefs were angry with their elimination in the Champions League which forced them to sack manager Maurizio Sarri. However, Balague claimed Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has been instructed to find a new club for the superstar and Barcelona were among the teams approached. Should this contract work it will be Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in one team which will make the team a very strong side.
there has not been any comment from Ronaldo yet concerning the move but the player has started before now that he would love to return to the English Premier League and Manchester United is the team he is looking at returning to.
