Nigerian goal-scoring machine, Victor Osimhen has revealed some clubs who wanted him. He said Barcelona, Liverpool and Tottenham all tried to sign him while he was with Lille. An agent who is a member of Osimhen’s reps, Roberto Calenda confirmed that Spanish LaLiga giants, Barcelona had wanted the Super Eagles star to replace Luiz Suarez at the Nou Camp.

Victor Osimhen signed a 5-year contract with Italian Serie A side, Napoli. He was also on the reader for top English Premier League sides, like Liverpool and Tottenham. The player, however, made a record signing of 70million deal with the Blues.

His agent made a statement following the move that made him Africa’s most expensive player. Roberto Calenda told Radio Marte, as reported by Tuttomercatoweb. He said the issues that were discussed before eventually signed him. He said the 21-year old was a major target for the Spanish side Barcelona.
