President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the attack targeted at the Ex-Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN Professor Charles Soludo.
According to Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, the President also condemned the attacks on three communities in Íshíelu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
The Presidential aide stated that the President directed law enforcement agencies to fish out the attackers and make them face justice.
He added that President Buhari extends his deepest sympathies to families and friends who have lost loved ones and every member of the Ebonyi State communities traumatised by the attacks.
While expressing concern at the influx of illegal weapons, the President reassured Nigerians that his administration would intensify ongoing efforts to recover illegal weapons and arrest arms suppliers.
Buhari vowed to continually empower the police and the armed forces to struggle against terrorism, banditry and kidnapping.
