An Ex-Niger Delta Militant, Asari Dokubo, has made a shocking declaration as he announced himself as the new Biafra de facto Customary Government leader.
Dokubo cited marginalisation and injustice on the Igbo people as the reason for his clamour for a better life in the Niger Delta region.
According to Uche Mefor, the Head of Information and Communication of the customary government, Dokubo vowed that the Biafran government would take care of the insecurity challenges faced by the Igbo.
The former Niger Delta militant also vowed to focus on science and technology to make life easier in the Niger Delta region.
Meanwhile, Dokubo announced George Onyibe as the Secretary and Emeka Esiri as the one in charge of the Legal Matters for the de facto government.
Asari Dokubo noted that Biafra’s government would bring freedom to Biafrans and Biafrans’ generation yet unborn.
Meanwhile, the Media and Publicity Secretary of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Emma Powerful, said the group was not against anybody declaring Biafra.
