Two Tottenham Players, right-back Aurier posted a video on social media handle which he deleted almost immediately but unknown to him fans had already seen it. In the video the player was seen wearing a nose mask while running shuttles and sitting next to fellow Tottenham player Sissoko.
The act violate the UK government guidelines which says you can only exercise on your own or with people you live with, they have violated the law and are to face punishment. However the two player has come out to apologise for their action, they said: “We wish to apologise for not setting the right example here,” they said.
“We recognise that as professional footballers we have a responsibility to be role models, particularly during this uncertain period that everyone around the world is facing.” In a joint statement, they added: “We must all respect the government advice to minimise the number of lives lost during this pandemic.
“We cannot thank NHS staff enough for their tireless work at this time and we shall both be making a financial donation to show our support for their efforts.” This is the third time a Tottenham player have been caught in a similar offence one of which was the team’s manager Jose Mourinho, he was pictured holding one-on-one training session in a park with France international Tanguy Ndombele. The second was Ryan Sessegnon and Davinson Sanchez who were filmed running side-by-side.
