African music star, Yemi Alade has called out for African fashion designers as she prepares for her future engagements.
Yemi Alade, who is also known as ‘Mama Africa’ is one artist who has taken African culture to the world. She is undoubtedly one of the most popular music artists in African countries.
She has had some collaborations with top music acts from the continent like Kenya’s Sauti Sol, Angelique Kidjo, and other top artists. The songstress adores African clothing, food, language and traditions.
Yemi Alade many times have rocked African wears and hairstyles in her music videos. ‘Mama Africa‘ therefore wants to do more as she look forward to her future engagements.
The ‘Shekere‘ crooner through her official Twitter account @yemialadee called for African designers in this regard.
She tweeted ”I am looking forward to wear more Africa designers …. please send DMs of designs to @EffyzzieMusic”
She announced that she’s having concerts, TV shows and photo shoots coming up.
African Fashion designers are therefore to take this opportunity and help in taking African designs to the world.
