Alhaji Salihu Yakasai, a former controversial aide to the Kanu State Governor, has verbally blasted President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress, APC, for some of their conducts since the emergence.
Salihu, from a popular Dynasty, yesterday, blamed the President and the ruling party for betraying the trust of its members and that of Ni Nigerians in general.
A Scion of the Dynasty, he spoke with journalists in Kano while announcing his official exit from the party he joined in February, 2013.
It would be noted that Yakasai was a former Director General, DG, Media and Publicity to the Kano State Governor and was dismissed for allegedly telling the bitter truth regarding the state of governance while he was still service Ganduje.
Yakasai Regrets Trusting APC Government
He lamented that “Regretfully, the trust and confidence we reposed in the APC (the government as well as the party) on two occasions (first and second terms) was betrayed.”
He expressed sadness over the manner the country is ruled and pointed out that a lot of Nigerians are suffering with nothing done to alleviate them from poverty.
