World leaders have reacted to the bombings in Ukraine by the Russian Troops and pledged that “the world will hold Russia accountable.”
The global leaders from top influential nations of the world, described the strike as an ‘unprovoked and unjustified attack.’
According to the British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, he wrote on Twitter that President Putin has chosen a path of bloodshed and destruction by launching this unprovoked attack on Ukraine.
He promised to work with allies to ‘decisively’ respond, with the country’s foreign minister, Liz Truss, and further described the invasion as “a terrible act of aggression.”
also contributing its voice to the dastardly act, the Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Tradeau, stated that Canada condemns, in the strongest possible terms, Russia’s egregious attack on Ukraine.
He said that the unprovoked actions are a clear further violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. They are also in violation of Russia’s obligations under international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
A previous visitor to Putin on grounds to negotiate peace over war, the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, said after the attack on Ukraine’s soil, that France strongly condemns Russia’s decision to wage war on Ukraine. He demanded that Moscow “end its military operations immediately.”
Many other globalleaders have also keyed into the matter and are closely speaking the same language fo Russia to instantly cease all military operations and opt for peace.
