Nigerian singers, Wizkid and Tems has been included in President Barrack Obama’s playlist for 2020.
Wizkid & Tems inclusion in the 30 favourite music of the ex-President of the United States of America in 2020 is from their collaboration titled ‘Essence’.
‘Essence‘ is off Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos‘ album which features fast-rising singer, Tems.
According to a tweet by Barrack Obama, the list was help compiled by his youngest daughter, Sasha.
His tweet reads, “Here are some of my favourite songs of the year. As usual, I had some valuable consultation from our family music guru, Sasha, to put this together. I hope you find a new song or two to listen to”
The two Nigerians made the top 30 list of which also includes songs from ‘Made In Lagos‘ guest artist, H.E.R, and other music stars such as Beyonce, Megan Thee Stallion, Jhene Aikho, Lil Baby, and so on.
In August, Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy and Tems made Obama’s 2020 summer playlist.
Mavin Records singer Rema was the last Nigerian who made Obama’s favourite songs of 2019 with his single ‘Iron Man’.
