The wife of Usifo Ataga, the murdered Chief Executive Officer, CEO of Super TV, has reacted to the killing of her husband. Brenda Ataga described the death of her husband as heartbreaking.

Speaking during a service of songs in Victoria Island, Lagos, Brenda, in her tribute, said finding out about Ataga’s demise was the worst news ever. Brenda said her mind raced through all the possibilities of what could have happened to Ataga before finding out about his death.

The wife of the Super TV CEO said she and her kids were looking forward to celebrating his milestone before the unfortunate incident happened.

Brenda added that she could not comprehend the stark reality that her husband’s life was cut short in his prime, at a renaissance of all he had toiled for.

Also, the mother of Ataga, Sylvia Ataga, in her tribute, said her son died an unnecessary death, adding that her son did not deserve what his murderers did to him.

You will recall that Police arrested one 21-year-old Chidinma Ojukwu, a student of the University of Lagos, in connection with the murder of Ataga, inside a Lagos hotel.

Chidinma, the prime suspect, confessed to fatally stabbing the Super TV CEO before she later denied the confessions she made earlier.

EveryEvery.ng had reported that the Lagos State police command had fingered more suspects in the death of the late Super TV CEO.

While parading some suspects, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, noted that aside from Chidinma, the Police had arrested more suspects in connection with the murder of Ataga.

Odumosu said Chidinma initially was the only suspect, but now, the Police had arrested additional suspects; according to the Police Boss, the investigation into Chidinma’s case is progressing.

He further dismissed the insinuation that the Police want to sweep the case under the carpet, adding that the Police have been able to establish a conspiracy in the case.
