Nigerian Tokyo Olympics Bronze medallist, Ese Brume, has revealed the reason for dedicating her medal to the founder of the Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo.
Brume said she decided to decorate Bishop Oyedepo with the medal, adding that she dedicates the award to her coach, Kayode Gaya, and her family.
EveryEvery.ng gathered that Brume said she wants to do it before leaping to her first Olympic medal, adding that the award means a lot to her.
The athlete noted that winning the medal means that God is alive, adding that she plans to go to Canaan-Land to wear the medal on Bishop Oyedepo. She further expressed delight in making it to the top three at the Olympics.
Ese Brume won bronze for Nigeria at the ongoing Tokyo 2020 Olympics in women’s long jump. Meanwhile, Germany’s Malaika Mihambo soared to gold in the women’s long jump.
