What NSCDC Asked Lagosians for 2021 Christmas

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Lagos command has assured residents of a crime-free Christmas celebration. The Commandant of the Lagos Command, Mr Eweko Okoro, said that the Command would ensure residents enjoy a hitch-free celebration in the state.

Mr Okoro, during an interview on Wednesday with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos, said the Civil Defence unit had been braced to face the daunting tasks during the celebration.

NSCDC Will Not Accept Criminal Activities in Lagos

He said the corps would not accept any criminal activities by thugs and miscreants that could disturb the state’s peace as all dark spots in the state will be effectively monitored.

In his words, “This command has rejigged its personnel to ensure the safety of lives and critical infrastructures.”. He, however, call on the citizens to let the Command know of any criminal activities in their neighbourhood.

He stressed that “NSCDC would protect the identity of the residents who inform the corps of useful information on activities of criminals.”
