English Sky Bet Championship side West Bromwich Albion have reportedly opened talks with Liverpool and Super Eagles striker Awoniyi Taiwo. According to reports, the club is looking at singing the player before starting the 2021/22 season.
Awoniyi, who has been with over seven different clubs on loan from Liverpool, joined the club recently to start their pre-season tour. The player joined Liverpool from Imperial Soccer Academy in 2015 but is yet to feature in an official game for the Reds.
The 23-year-old has spent every season of his Liverpool career out on loan, especially successful stints at NEC, Mouscron. He spent the whole of last season with German Bundesliga side Union Berlin. Awoniyi could be joining the English Sky Bet Championship side West Bromwich Albion.
Reports also has it that Stoke City is also in search of the player who just linked up with Liverpool players for the pre-season tour.
