Southampton vs Bournemouth Friday 8 pm
Bournemouth up against Southampton. Bournemouth will be traveling to the Saint Mary’s stadium on Friday to battle for three points. They won Everton last week and you want to conclude they will still do the same this week. The Southampton team also won their last game against Sheffield United and are not looking bad either. Che Adams needs a goal for Southampton, he has lacked chances and it is a worry for the team. Maybe Friday could be his day.
Predictions over 1.5
Leicester vs Tottenham Saturday 12.30 pm
Leicester will be hosting Spurs after last week’s defeat at Old Trafford. They have been impressive in the league this season with just one loss. Jamie Vardy has been in the top class with James Maddison and looked ready to win any team. Hamza Choudhury and Wilfried Ndidi young, and energetic players controlling the midfield.
Tottenham has been unstable this season. They drew 2-2 in their first leg of the Champions League against Olympiacos. They did well to thrash Crystal Palace last week 4-0 but can they do the same to The Foxes? In other news, Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli, Heung-Min Son and Lucas Moura are all back in the team. It is going to be a game with lots of goals.
Burnley vs Norwich 3 pm
Norwich shocked Manchester City in the weekend and looks good to watch. The manager does not believe that injuries will change his game. Teemu Pukki and Todd Cantwell are the unlikely pair that are doing really good. But away from home, can they do well? Ashley Barnes will be introducing Chris Wood hopefully to boost the team. This is how we set up and how we play, it will be a pretty comfortable afternoon for Burnley.
Everton vs Sheffield United 3 pm
Everton lost their last game and are hoping to bounce with a win this week. The last trio Marco Silva used against Wolves seems to be the best trio for him to use again. Moise Kean, Richarlison and Iwobi, then Calvert-Lewin all together. That is a decent front four in terms of pace, movement and creative ability. Everton’s defense has started the season well but still, need improvement.
Sheffield United is still trying to adjust to the right system that suits them. I do not see a lot of goals for them. I expect Everton to snatch a winner later on.
Manchester City vs Watford 3 pm
Man City have defensive frailties and injuries. Bring Fernandinho to pair with Otamendi appears to be the only option for them. With the return of Benjamin Mendy, the two defense line will be perfect. Guardiola will be very careful not to make a similar mistake Arsenal made during the weekend against Watford.
Watford did well to bounce back from 2 goals down to a 2-2 draw, an impressive result for new Boss Gino Pozzo. Man City will be looking at using the chance of Liverpool playing a tough side in the weekend to close up the gap.
Predictions: Home win and over 2.5
Newcastle United vs Brighton 5.30 pm Predictions: over 1.5
Crystal Palace vs Wolves 2 pm
Crystal Palace has not been good with scoring goals at home. Wilfried Zaha has not been as impactful as expected but Jordan Ayew has been covering up in the attack. Gary Cahill has really improved the defensive line but still, they are not really the team to put against Wolves. Wolves are more hungry, they have not won any game; they lost at home to Braga in the Europa. They are in dire need of a win. It was very unlike for them to get too exposed as they did against Chelsea, but they will bounce back here.
West Ham vs Manchester United 2 pm
West Ham has won two of their last five games and is in the eight positions in the league table. They are a strong side with a very physical midfield. United will try to put in their all after a hectic game on Thursday night. It was a big win against Leicester for Man Utd last weekend without major stars. Anthony Martial is still out due to injury and Pogba too. They will be parading the youth team again against West Ham.
Arsenal vs Aston Villa 4.30 pm
Arsenal has been unpredictable with their rising and falling form. Unai Emery seems to have gotten his tactics now after drawing to bottom place Watford last week. Lacazzet out with injury, it will be Pepe, Aubamiyang, and Reiss Nelson or Joe Willock. David Luiz has already gotten a place in the Arsenal line-up, so it is who will partner with him now. Dani Ceballos and Mesut Ozil could make the starting line up. Aston Villa is vulnerable defensively, but good upfront. With John McGinn and Jack Grealish in front, they could be a treat to the Arsenal defense.
