Latest Transfer Gossip Across Europe

In today’s transfer gossip, Chelsea is willing to offer 100m euros (£90.7m) for Atletico Madrid’s 27-year-old Slovenian shot-stopper Jan Oblak, 27. The Blues are doing everything possible to maintain the Champions League position as they rolled over Norwich City 1-0 yesterday. Frank Lampard is looking to upgrade his team and the Atletico Madrid’s keeper is one of the major targets according to today’s transfer gossip.

Paris St-Germain has made Manchester United and England forward Marcus Rashford who is favourite to win the BBC Player of the year award their top target. Manchester United are prepared to listen to offers for six players, including 27-year-old England midfielder Jesse Lingard, to raise funds for new signings. Manchester United will miss out on a £25m payment from kit sponsors Adidas if they fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League. 

Also in the transfer gossip, Barcelona has offered 28-year-old Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho to Arsenal and Newcastle as they seek to free up funds for the signing of Inter Milan and Argentina forward Lautaro Martinez, 22. Also, Brazilian forward Neymar wants to return to Barcelona, and Paris St-Germain are calculating his value with two years remaining on his contract.

Southampton and Denmark midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, 24, wants to join Tottenham, who could use English defender Kyle Walker-Peters, 23, in a deal. Arsenal’s 22-year-old English midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles, who can also play in defence, believes he will have to leave the club in order to get more first-team football.

Lille and Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen, 21, has chosen to join Napoli in a deal worth 81m euros (£73.5m), he chose Napoli over the likes of AC Milan, Leicester City and Liverpool. The young player has been doing well since joining French Ligue 1 side Lille, Napoli coach is willing to add to the pay to land the Nigerian.

Celtic and Ajax are interested in West Ham’s 22-year-old winger Grady Diangana, who is on loan at Championship side West Brom. The Baggies are also keen to sign the England Under-21 international permanently if they are promoted.
