Vincent Kompany Missing in His Testimonial Match

Vincent Kompany (33) was missing his testimonial match on Wednesday night. Manchester City former skipper who currently sidelined with a hamstring injury. 

It was a fun-filled game with both young and old players featured in the game. Martin Petrov gave the opener with an acute angle placed shot to put City Legends up ahead. Robbie Keane equalized, as Robin Van Persie completed the comeback with a long-range shot. Benjani’s header restored the scoreline to a two-all draw(2-2).

Money raised from the testimonial match was given to charity, as Manchester City named a road leading to the training ground after him and, also commissioned a sculpture of him to be built outside the Etihad.

Kompany lamented over the injury of Leroy Sane. He said he would have loved to see him take on Gary Neville.
