Victor Uwaifo Burial: Obaseki Plans Final Farewell

Victor Uwaifo Burial has been the talk of the town, as the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has assured his family, and the entire people of the State, that the late music legend would be receiving a befitting farewell ceremony.

The Edo Music Legend who passed on last month following a brief ailment will be properly remembered for his numerous contributions to the state as series of preparations are being put in place for the burial.

According to a press release issued by Mr Osaigbovo Iyoha, the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Edo State, he said the government is making arrangement with the family of the deceased to guarantee a successful statewide burial.

“Arrangements are in top gear and we will disclose more details of the burial in conjunction with the family.”

Giving some memorable history, moments, records and feats of the late singer, he eiterated that Uwaifo died on 28th August 2021, aged 80 years.

He noted that the legend led an illustrious career as a musician, artist, and teacher, taking the culture, experiences, and sound of Nigeria to a global audience.
