Victim Of Lekki Shooting Allegedly Steals Phone While Receiving Free Medical Treatment

A young man who was a victim of the Lekki shooting that happened on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, in Lagos state has allegedly been caught trying to make away with the mobile phone of one of the nurses attending to him.

Following the unfortunate event at the Lekki plaza, the man was rushed to a private where he can be treated and after spending four days in the clinic, he was set to go home when a staff of the hospital caught him with the nurse’s phone hidden in his pant.

In the video making rounds, the young man identified as Rowland said nothing to defend himself while the man who made the video narrated the incident.

It was in this video that the man said the suspect was set to return to his home in Victoria Island, Lagos after receiving free treatment and in fact, a good Samaritan had offered to pay his cab fare home.

The man in the video said it was evident that this was one of the sponsored thugs sent to disrupt the peaceful protesters and give them a bad name judging from his actions in the hospital.
