Social critic Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has taken to social media to address crossdresser Bobrisky, who recently mocked him for receiving a generous donation of one hundred million Naira (N100,000,000) from music producer Don Jazzy.
On Thursday, VDM announced the significant contribution to his foundation, a revelation that sent shockwaves through the Nigerian community. However, Bobrisky responded with a video, criticizing VDM for soliciting donations despite previously claiming he would never accept financial assistance from anyone, particularly celebrities.
In a video posted online this morning, VDM fired back, suggesting that Bobrisky’s reaction indicates he is in good health and should appear before the investigative panel set up by the House of Representatives. “The video released by Bobrisky shows he is well and must make himself available,” VDM stated, referencing the ongoing scrutiny surrounding the crossdresser.
This comes after Bobrisky’s legal representative informed the panel last month that he could not attend due to illness. VDM emphasized that the next hearing is scheduled for Monday, October 21, and suggested that Bobrisky’s recent behaviour contradicts claims of being unwell.
The House of Representatives is currently investigating allegations that Bobrisky paid the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) 15 million Naira to dismiss his money laundering charges. There are also claims that he received special treatment, being placed in a private accommodation while serving a six-month sentence for alleged Naira abuse.
As the investigation continues, the drama between VDM and Bobrisky unfolds, captivating audiences and raising questions about accountability and transparency in the entertainment industry.
