Today marked the last Monday diary session in the house and Vee was the first housemate to talk to Biggie. Biggie asked about the last evictions and Vee said she didn’t feel bad for the housemates that left yesterday seeing that Ozo and Trikytee had made it to the penultimate week.
For the first time, Biggie asked the housemates to narrate their audition experience and Vee strongly believes that her story was that of grace. According to her, coronavirus disrupted her plans of going back to family in London so she was stuck in Nigeria for a bit. When she finally got a seat to travel, she heard about the auditions and had to choose between returning to family and a chance to be in Big Brother’s house this year. In her words,
“Life was so hard, I didn’t have an idea of what I was going to do. My flight was cancelled. Had to look for money to go back to London. When they found a seat for me was when I found out about the Big Brother’s house so I had to decide”
This was exactly what Vee had shared with some housemates earlier in the game and was very grateful that she had made that risky choice of staying back.
She left thanking Biggie for his selection this year not just because of her but because of the blend of housemates being selected this year.
