Nigerian popular rapper, Ogunmefun Olanrewaju professionally known as Vector Tha Viper has added to his 2020 project a new EP titled ‘The African Mind’.
This comes after the veteran rapper had released Cross Roads EP with music producer, Sunny Nweke aka Masterkraft which has songs such as ‘Eyan Colgate‘, ‘If We Must (Sun & Rain)‘ and so on.
Vector is undoubtedly one of the most versatile Nigerian artists. The Lafiaji-born rapper has added to his creativity in words in the newly released EP The African Mind.
The African mind is a spoken words EP by Vector. The rapper came through in a poetic style with talking about societal issues.
The EP contains 4 voems (visual poems). The tracks include ‘Rape‘, ‘Fail Yours’, ‘I Saw a Video Last Night‘, and ‘Protect the Church‘.
Here is a lyrics of one of the tracks ‘Fail Yours’;
If I fail just because you fail to see
Then it is very clear that one of us fail is you and me
I must have failed in appailing to the level of your understanding
But if I accept your definition of failure as me and you
Feel like finding any form of understanding in me being me
Then don’t put that on me bros it’s all on you.
