Nigerian rapper, Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, popularly known as Vector Tha Viper has rated singer, Wizkid via a comment on social media platform.
Wizkid is one of Nigeria’s top music export to the world. The singer whose studio album ‘Made In Lagos’ has been anticipated by music fans all over has taken Afrobeat, a music genre popularized by Fela-Anikulapo-Kuti.
Starboy as he’s fondly called is one of Nigeria’s most streamed artists on music platforms and has shut down several venues around the world.
With several music awards and endorsement deals from top brands around the world, Wizkid is arguably one of the greatest Nigerian music artists till date.
Lafiaji rapper, Vector has rated Wizkid very high while commenting on a Twitter user’s post. The Nigerian lyricist just had to confirm Starboy as one of the best things that has happened to Nigerian music industry.
The Twitter user @OrishaTemi tweeted ‘‘I want an Afrobeat Verzuz with Wizkid, just don’t know who the other person should be”
This made Vector post a comment in style. The ‘Angeli’ crooner replied ”I don’t think even Wiz can outdo himself”
This has made Wizkid fans to appreciate him for the comment on their favorite artist as the king of Afrobeat.
