US Warns About Ondo Governorship Election

The United States of America has warned about the outcome of the forthcoming October 10 Ondo State governorship election.

As the sunshine state residents are preparing to elect a new governor on Saturday, the US Embassy has demanded that the outcome of the election reflects the choice of the people.

In a statement released by the US Embassy, security services are to ensure that the election is peaceful while urging other stakeholders to do all in their reach of influence to have peaceful conduct.

While reiterating its commitment to strengthening its relationship with Nigeria, the American Embassy said it would continue to work towards achieving peace and prosperity for both countries.
