Updates On Rape Allegation Against Uti Nwachukwu

The winner of Big Brother Naija Africa 5, Uti Nwachukwu has vowed to continue the investigation over the rape allegations that were levelled against him by a Twitter user, Kambili Korie.

Though Kambili has deleted her account on the platform a few hours after Uti petitioned the Inspector General of police over the matter.

In the petition which Uti filed on June 5 2020, the famous Tv host demanded a full-scale investigation adding that he felt hurt and disgusted because of the allegation against him.

Reacting to how his accuser deleted her Twitter account, he said though he did not want to speak on the matter but had to clear the air to keep his followers updated over the accusation.

He further stated that his accuser who created the Twitter account to accuse him of rape had deleted the account before investigators could identify her.

Uti stressed that victims of sexual abuse need to be heard and believed to allow others who have fallen victim of such an act to speak up.

He described the past few days as difficult as he also appreciated his fans for their support.
