Updates on Chidinma, Suspected Killer Of Super TV CEO

A few days after the burial of the murdered Chief Executive Officer of Super TV, Usifo Ataga, the arraignment of Chidinma Ojukwu, the prime suspect in the murder of Ataga, is set to begin at the Yaba Magistrate Court in Lagos State.

According to the PUNCH, Chidinma, a 300-level Mass Communication student at the University of Lagos, is presently in court, and she is to be arraigned with two other suspects.

Police arrested the suspect on June 23 in her father’s house in Yaba. The suspect, who had confessed to stabbing the Super TV CEO under the influence of alcohol, later backtracked in a video, absolving herself from the murder.

Meanwhile, the wife of Usifo Ataga had reacted to the killing of her husband. Brenda Ataga described the death of her husband as heartbreaking. Speaking during a service of songs in Victoria Island, Lagos, Brenda, in her tribute, said finding out about Ataga’s demise was the worst news ever.

Brenda said her mind raced through all the possibilities of what could have happened to Ataga before finding out about his death.

The wife of the Super TV CEO said she and her kids were looking forward to celebrating his milestone before the unfortunate incident happened.

Brenda added that she could not comprehend the stark reality that her husband’s life was cut short in his prime, at a renaissance of all he had toiled for.

You will recall that Police arrested the 21-year-old prime suspect in connection with the murder of Ataga, inside a Lagos hotel. EveryEvery.ng had reported that the Lagos State police command had fingered more suspects in the death of Ataga.

While parading some suspects, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, noted that aside from Chidinma, the Police had arrested more suspects in connection with the murder of Ataga.
